Explore a pilot partnership

Start with the ready-to-use materials below, or get in touch if you would like to explore a supported pilot shaped around your learners and setting. A conversation is simply a chance to understand what would be useful; it does not create a commitment.

What SkillRise is evaluating

No pilot findings have been published yet. Pilots look at three separate things, reported separately:

  • Participation and usage: workdays started and finished, from device-local counts.
  • Learner and educator feedback: relevance, usability and what to change.
  • Changes in learning: before/after discussion themes against the session objectives — identifying competing priorities, explaining a decision and its consequences, communicating a boundary, and justifying a choice between alternatives.

Results will be shared only with documented, approved evidence, including sample size, dates, method and limitations.

Who a pilot could serve

  • Adult education and workforce programs preparing people for entry-level and frontline work.
  • Career and technical education classes and first-job or placement preparation.
  • Returners and career changers exploring how their experience transfers.
  • Libraries and community organizations running drop-in or short-course sessions.

Each setting needs its own adaptation; see the adaptation notes in the guided sessions.

What a typical session involves

A 30–45 minute session: a short opening prompt, one fictional workday played individually, in pairs or as a group (about 12 minutes of play), discussion, and an optional real-world step. No accounts, no grades and no timers. Learners' progress stays in the browser they used.

Support we can discuss

  • A facilitator orientation conversation before your first session.
  • Local adaptation, such as local employers' contexts, terminology or reading support.
  • Feedback sessions to share what worked, what confused learners and what to change.

Every program is different, so we shape scope, timing and availability together. Tell us about your learners and we will talk through what would fit.

How to express interest

Tell us a little about your setting and what you hope to explore.
