You loaded the Marsh Farm order yourself before Denny went off to deal with a delivery of his own. Two pallets of calf starter, one bag of mineral lick, same as always. Reuben left at seven.

Your phone rings. It's Reuben.

Hey. So, I'm at Marsh, and this isn't calf starter.

He hasn't finished the sentence. He doesn't need to.

It's the ewe nuts. Same size bag, wrong pallet, I didn't check the print before I drove off either.

He's forty minutes out on roads with nowhere to turn a loaded van around easily. The farmer is standing right there, waiting to feed calves that are due their morning ration in about an hour.
